CIVIL RIGHTS MEDIA & COMMUNICATIONS ACADEMY TO TRAIN 750 SOCIAL CORRESPONDENTS FOR A NEW ERA OF CONTENT CREATORS

Selma-based initiative will connect trained community correspondents with congressional-district television and radio platforms, combining local news gathering, creator talent, AI-assisted production and national and global media distribution. The Civil Rights Media & Communications Center and Civil Rights Media & Communications Academy are preparing to train 750 Social Correspondents as part of an innovative new communications infrastructure designed to gather news and information directly from American communities and distribute those stories through television, radio, streaming and digital platforms.

HONOR ARMOUR TO OFFICIALLY LAUNCH

Honor Armour, a faith-centered garment, media, entertainment and community-service company built around the message “FAITH FUELS GREATNESS,” will officially launch Saturday, September 26, 2026, during the “Standing in the Gap for the Community” community outreach event at Apex Transitional Housing in Mesa, Arizona. The launch will be different from a traditional introduction of a new garment brand. Instead of beginning with a conventional fashion show or commercial launch, Honor Armour will introduce itself through community service. The September 26 event will bring together businesses, nonprofit and community organizations, volunteers, Christian artists and media platforms to provide essential resources to Arizona individuals and families.
